Prize of the public:  Visitors to the exhibition will have the chance to vote for their favourite photo. During the closing ceremony the prize of the public will be revealed.



JURY

The jury was formed depending on their professional knowledge.

The jury consists of

 

  • Johan Brouwers: chairman of the jury. Qualified European Photographer (QEP). Board member of the Belgian Association of Professional Photographers (NVB). Chairman of the EP jury (European Photographer), a basic qualification label for photographers, awarded by the FEP, the Federation of European Professional Photographers. Chairman of the FEP European Professional Photographer of the Year Competition from edition 2019.

  • Andy Hens: Belgian photographer who lives and works in Germany. Master Qualified European Photographer (MQEP). Many years of experience as a judge for the QEP- and Master QEP-qualifications of the Federation of European Professional Photographers. Photography teacher at the Handwerkskammer in Dortmund, Germany. Specialist in cgi, computer-genrated imagery.

  • Patrizia BurraMaster Qualified European Photographer (MQEP) from Grado, Italy. Professional photographer, stylist, creative designer, creative director, with 36 years of experience in capturing the beauty in the mundane. Winner of many national and international photography awards. 'Photography isn't a hobby- it's my lifestyle'. www.patriziaburra.com

  • Patrick Ceyssens, Not many contemporary artists can make the subcutaneous effect of images that perceptible as interdisciplinary artist Patrick Ceyssens. His edited images and installations are exposed at home and abroad en he's represented by many art galleries. He's a lecturer image analysis at the PXL-MAD School of Arts and he recently promoted at the UHasselt with his research on the indirect effect and experimental forces of images. www.patrickceyssens.com​

  • Zjuul Devens, (°1948) Visual artist. Department Photography and Film Higher Institute St. Lukas Brussels (1971). Master Visual Arts and Photography (1997).
    Former lecturer Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia at the Plantijn High School Province of Antwerp.
    Individual and group exhibitions, at home and abroad, of photographic work, video installations and slide shows, but also sculpture and installations. Cooperates with and works for other visual artists, dancers, musicians, theatre producers…
    All-round professional photographer, active in the diamond industry in the nineties, when he became a passionate macro photographer. After his professional career he focused on the theme of transience. Thanks to him dead and half-decomposed insects get ‘a new life’.
    As a volunteering photographer and movie maker for Child Help in Africa, he discovered his love for documentary photography.
    Photography and art are an integral part of his life.

  • Jim Lowe, Qualified European Photographer from the UK. Lecturer Marine & Natural History Photography at the Falmouth University, Cornwall, UK. Chairman of the QEP and MQEP qualifications of the Federation of European Professional Photographers (FEP).

  • Jos Verhoogen, Master Qualified European Photographer (MQEP). 40 years of experience as a professional photographer. Reportage photography teacher. Member of the jury for the FEP and other international photographic competitions on many occasions. www.verhoogen.be
